Rajini Krishnan ready to defend his Malaysian Superbike title qualifying 5th for Round 1 in Sepang

Indian motorcycle racer Rajini Krishnan is all set to defend his Malaysian Superbike Championship title which he won in 2015 in Malaysia.

The round 1 of the 5 round Malaysian Superbike championship which is sponsored by Pirelli tires and organised by the Sepang Internation Circuit starts this weekend as a support race for the World Superbike Championship (WSBK).

The Indian rider struggled to enter for the 2016 due to lack of funds but cleverly organized a crowd funding program on the internet getting some relief and support from his fans. Though what he had sourced through crowd funding is not enough for him to compete in all the round, he has positively managed to enter with the available funds and is ready to defend his title.

Rajini has qualified 5th riding his Kawasaki after facing some tire problems in the wet conditions of practice and qualifying sessions.

Rajini commented in his social media "Yesterday free practice and qualifying finished at wet with problem of tire issue so I am able to qualify 5th. Today have one race, I will hope to finish with good position..wish me luck for today´s race."
